Finally! A tool specifically designed for trimming back the edges of drum wrap. When you use the DF Wrap Trimmer, you get a perfectly clean cut around the circumference of your shell. If you are wrapping a new drum, you can cut your edges before applying the wrap and avoid dealing with the wrap seam "bump". No filing, fudging, or fit problems. If you do rewrap or restoration work, this tool will glide right along the existing bearing edge without damaging it. The trimmer cuts back the wrap approximately 3/8" of an inch from the edge.

Use on all size drum shells.

Heavy duty construction! The main plates are laser cut from 1/4" thick steel, and powder coated with a durable black finish.

Urethane rollers won't mark or damage the inside of the shell.

A slick UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) gasket slides along the bearing edge without damaging or altering.

Super sharp, heat treated cutting disc cuts vinyl, glass glitter, and countertop laminate finishes with ease.

Ergonomic design has been thoroughly tested for maximum comfort.

The DF Wrap Trimmer is easy to use. Just place the trimmer on the edge of the drum as shown in the pictures, and gently squeeze the lever as you go around the shell. It's a good idea to lightly score the circumference first before cutting through the wrap. Different types of wrap will require different pressure, but you'll quickly learn from the sound the cutting disc is making when the cut is complete.
